During our recent stay at Scarborough Hill, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary experience offered at the hotel. Set within a beautifully refurbished building, the restaurant can accommodate up to 150 guests, creating a convivial atmosphere. We chose to dine in one evening, and the ambiance was inviting, though I must admit it was a bit noisy for my liking. As an active traveler with a love for food, I eagerly anticipated our meals. The breakfast each morning was satisfactory, featuring a variety of selections. One particular morning, I noted that the coffee could have been served hotter, but that didn't detract much from the overall experience. The staff handled an unexpected electrical fault well, ensuring breakfast was cooked to order and served with care. The on-site bar was a relaxing spot to wind down after our adventures, allowing us to enjoy a drink in a casual setting.
